  1. After the bankrupt of Astrotech Space Industries seven years ago an anonymous party has bought up not only the remaining inventory of F-37B Manta light fighters, but also the plans for a newer, better fighter with fewer weaknesses. The result is the F-19F Flounder fighter. This ship solves the problem of having both a good shielded and a highly maneuverable ship, even if the cost is higher than first expected. And like the Manta light fighter the Flounder fighter can be launched from fighter bays.
